The club was founded from the municipal team that won the Copa dos Rios in 2007, and with the decision of the Amazonian Football Federation to hold the state's second division again after more than 40 years, the club became professional. In November 2008, they finished 3rd in the second division of the state and gained unprecedented access to the top flight. Series A of the Amazon Championship, benefiting from the withdrawal of the Petrobras Employees' Club (Iranduba) from playing in the 1st division the following year. |
