History: Baré was founded on October 26, 1946, by Aquilino da Mota Duarte (a former member of the Atletico Roraima), who was also the club's first president.[1] It was the second club in the then Federal Territory of Rio Branco, now the state of Roraima, formed three years after Atlético Roraima Clube, its biggest rival. Later coached by Claudeonor Freire, Mário Abdala, Hitler de Lucena, Adamor Menezes, Simão Souza, Francisco Galvão Soares, Francisco das Chagas Duarte, Alcides da Conceição Lima Filho, Ruben da Silva Bento, José Maria Menezes Filho and Luciano Tavares de Araújo[1], throughout its history, Baré's soccer team has won two titles in the Amazon Integration Tournament and eight state championships (four in the amateur phase, until 1994, and another four in the professional phase), as well as various other achievements in other sports. |
